We’re pleased to announce that printable versions of both the
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 User’s Guide and
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Administrator’s Guide are now available for download on the Microsoft Download Center. These two guides contain all of the
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Rollup 3 content we ship to customers within the core Help system.
This represents a big win first for customers—who have always delivered significant traffic to the Download Center for past versions of this content, and continue to request a printable manual. Secondly, partners and ISVs will be able to use these Word docs as the basis for custom documentation they provide to their customers (a regular request from partners in particular). Finally, this publication fills a gap for the field, who still encounter prospects in search of a CRM solution that includes more “traditional” printable content.
The UA team has implemented infrastructure to make generating these guides from the core Help content a repeatable and scalable process, which will enable us to ship updates to them soon after updates to the source content itself.
